Bursitis and Tendonitis
Bursitis is inflammation of a bursa, which is a small fluid filled sac that reduces friction between tissues in the body. Bursitis can occur due to underlying rheumatic conditions, infection, or most commonly due to injury or incorrect movement patterns, such as in the shoulder or knee. One of our caring practitioners can assess and diagnose your condition, and put you on the road to recovery.
Tendonitis is inflammation of a tendon, which joins muscle to bone, and is often due to overload to the tendon structure, such as with unaccustomed activity. Tendonitis is an extremely common condition, and if not treated correctly can result in ongoing pain and disability. Talk to one of our friendly practitioners to have your questions answered.
